Modern Surfaces Takes to Orlando for KBIS 2017
IceStone, PaperStone and Durat have joined to form a coalition of sustainable creators.
After the success of Modern Surfaces at Greenbuild 2016, the sustainable collaboration brings their booth to The Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Orlando, January 10-12, 2017.
Modern Surfaces was formed in 2015 as a collaboration between like-minded surface brands who believe in providing material that is not only stylish, but also sustainable. Modern Surfaces is not only a network of inventors, artists and manufacturers, but creators, passionate about transformation and individual expression. Every material brought under the Modern Surface umbrella has been carefully selected for their devotion to beauty, utility of consumer and industrial waste and improving lives beyond concept and application over the long term. Modern Surfaces currently contains the recycled glass and concrete based IceStone, recycled paper and bioresin PaperStone and recycled post-consumer plastic based Durat.
Modern Surfaces will feature a newly updated tradeshow booth which will include new prints, display samples and giveaways. The Modern Surface booth will be located at S5878. For those unable to attend the show, real time coverage of the booth will occur under the hashtag #createbetter across all IceStone and affiliate social media accounts.
