NRF Scholarship Applications Now Available

Every year, the National Remodeling Foundation (NRF) accepts scholarship applications from anyone pursuing a career in remodeling. Scholarship recipients can then use the awards at accredited colleges and universities for classes related to the industry. Alternately, the scholarships can be used for industry-accredited certifications, including those that are independently recognized and those sponsored by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA).

Awards are determined by the individual and the educational programs chosen, and applications can be downloaded on the Web. When submitted, each application must include two reference letters and the applicant’s most recent federal income tax return.

The NRF was established to provide these scholarships and promote education for beginners interested in the remodeling industry and seasoned professions who are looking to advance their knowledge and skills.

“At its core, the National Remodeling Foundation exists to support and encourage individuals who are as passionate about the remodeling industry as we are,” said NRF President Steve Kleber. “We are continually seeking those from younger generations to find new ways to market, grow and ultimately give back to our community. The NRF is proud to support these students and anticipates positive, mutually rewarding opportunities to stem from our relationships with them.”
