NKBA Creates Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund

Hurricane Harvey has caused billions of dollars in damage, displaced tens of thousands of people, and left a path of destruction in Southeastern Texas and the Gulf Coast region that will be felt for years to come. As is the case with so many in those areas, members of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) have felt the impact of this natural disaster, with many members’ businesses suffering great losses.

NKBA has set up an assistance program for members that have sustained losses from this tragic situation. If you are in the affected area and wish to request assistance, please click here to fill out this form or email the NKBA point person Julie Figiel at [email protected]. The association assures that all requests will be kept confidential.

To help ease some of the burden of rebuilding for those affected, the NKBA has established a disaster relief fund, and encourages support of its members. Click here to donate. The goal is to raise $1 million that will aid members in the affected areas. The NKBA will be matching donations up to $500,000.

Contributions will go directly to helping members get their businesses, livelihoods and lives back on track. Any funds not utilized by NKBA members will be distributed to general relief agencies to assist the broader community.
